JOOS featured at the SARU museum
Marked by the ceremonial capturing of the handprints of a glittering array of 43 national team captains, The South African Rugby Union’s rugby museum – The Springbok Experience – was launched on 24 September 2013. JOOS had the pleasure of fitting the double-storey rugby museum, which spans 800m2, with bespoke display cabinets and shelves.
“We are putting a world-class visitor attraction, celebrating the rich but complex history of South African rugby and the Springboks, into the middle of one of Africa’s most visited tourist destinations,” Jurie Roux, CEO of the South African Rugby Union (SARU), is quoted as saying.
We would like to encourage everyone to visit the magnificent museum at Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront in the Portswood House building and to let us know what you think.
